Scaleout is highly ranked in the Swedish AI startup landscape, known for innovation in federated learning and for accelerating AI in Sweden. The founding team consists of veterans in machine learning, cloud architecture, software engineering, blockchain technology and entrepreneurship with extensive experience from both the industry and leading academic research in applied AI.

The company is a spin-off from the Department of Information Technology at Uppsala University.
