Imint

Imint’s guiding principle is to erase the difference in experience of using small camera equipment, such as in a smartphone, from that of using professional equipment.

Imint is a software company and a product company with headquarters in Uppsala and a global market. Imint was founded in 2007 as a spin-off from a research group at Uppsala University. Imint develops algorithms for real-time image and video enhancement, integrated into camera products. During the first years, Imint worked with customers in the industrial and defence segments. The global brand and product portfolio is called Vidhance. The largest market segment today is smartphones, where Imint has most of the major manufacturers of Android phones as customers, and Vidhance has been shipped with over 400 million smartphones. Regardless of the market, video stabilization has been a core product in which Imint has a world-leading position.
