VOC Diagnostics is developing a diagnostic instrument to detect ovarian cancer in its early stages. The original idea stemmed from Professor György Horvath, a specialist in gynecology, who trained his dogs to smell ovarian cancer in blood. György then expanded the concept to use gas sensors to create an artificial nose for identifying the disease.
