Disruptive Materials is a fast-growing materials technology company that develops groundbreaking solutions for various markets based on a mesoporous magnesium carbonate (MMC).
At Disruptive Materials, various grades of MMC are used to develop innovative products for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, hair care and sports. One form of MMC, Upsalite®, has been commercially available in the sports market since 2018 via Black Diamond in a series of award-winning climbing powders and this was followed by Prowder, a cosmetic, award-winning finishing powder from Palina, which was launched in 2019.
Disruptive Materials has offices in Sweden and the USA as well as a spin-off company, Disruptivepharma in drug development, where pharma-mmc is used as a carrier for insoluble drugs.
