SampleFacts develops a new blood sampling card for dried blood spots. The technology enables the immediate separation of blood cells from plasma or from a fingerstick, unlike the established sampling methods where blood is drawn from the arm by healthcare personnel and then centrifuged in a laboratory environment before the sample is ready for analysis.<\/p>\n

The simple design of the cards and preliminary results on room temperature stability make them suitable for the creation of biobanks. By using the cards instead of blood collection tubes, space, energy, and costs are saved due to storage at room temperature instead of in freezers.<\/p>\n
